On Saturday Haldane Fisher Valkyrs Senior fixtures our Ladies A team battled hard and beat Bacchas on flicks to secure their place in the semi‑finals. The Ladies B and C teams had a rare weekend off after receiving byes in the first round of the plate/bowl fixtures. Our Men’s A and B teams fought well but were unlucky in their matches and were knocked out of the cup and plate.

A special mention from the Men’s A match: Lucas Adams made his first‑team debut and came away with Player of the Match. He stepped up brilliantly, staying composed on the ball throughout and creating some great chances. It was also a real family affair for the Adams clan, with Chris and Ethan lining up alongside him.

On Sunday our U12 Valkyrs girls absolutely smashed it, winning the Into Hockey tournament and earning their spot in the next round in the UK. A huge thank you to Align 4 Life for sponsoring the team!

We also had a brilliant group of players representing the Island Teams off‑island — huge congratulations to Ellie, May‑Saa, Caleb, Saoirse, Rhea, Darcy, Lucas, Bonnie, Harri, Eve, Bethany and Liam. Some fantastic results all round. Well done everyone, and bring on the next round!
